Resin vases and planters: the best choice for style and resistance

Spring is coming: it's time to clean up our terraces, balconies and gardens; to prune our flower beds if we have them; or to green our outdoor spaces, following the trend of recent times (we talk about it here).

So let's start with the choice of vases and planters. If you opt for a modern and minimal style, the choice will fall on resin vases and planters with clean, linear shapes and neutral colors, such as white or brown, or bright ones such as purple, orange, bronze, etc. The resin vases and planters can also be illuminated: LEDs inside the vase itself illuminate the environment softly to create a lounge effect even on your balcony.

Fashion aside, you may be wondering, in addition to being beautiful, are they also functional? Yes, resin vases are durable and lightweight.

Resin pots are not the same as plastic pots.

Resin vases are of significantly higher quality than plastic vases, which also justifies the higher price. In fact, in addition to purchasing a product of excellent and durable quality, you are also purchasing a much more elegant and refined product in style.

Resin vases in general have the following characteristics:

They withstand temperature changes without deteriorating or deforming
There are various models suitable for all styles, often with a modern design
They have better finishes
They are durable but lightweight
they can also be used indoors
they are available in various colors, in addition to the usual brown

By opting for resin pots, we will now need to think about what type of plants to put in our new resin pots and planters.

Usually, once we have chosen the type of vase based on the spaces we have, we choose the plants, or vice versa. Each plant has specific space requirements.

Pots measuring between 40 and 100 cm in length or between 30 and 50 cm in diameter are suitable for herbaceous plants, i.e. flowering plants such as geraniums, carnations, but also non-shrubby aromatic plants such as basil, sage and mint.

Planters between 80 and 100 cm long, are suitable for medium and small sized shrubs such as rosemary, pittosporum, abelia, eugenia, boxwood.

Pots with a diameter of 80 cm or large dimensions are suitable for small trees such as citrus trees, olive trees or Japanese maples because they require more space.

We remind you that you can easily take advantage of the green bonus to spruce up your outdoor spaces.

What are you waiting for then? Spring is upon us, don't be caught unprepared, discover our resin vases and planters now.
